Facilitators UK has won a contract with Shell E&P in Dubai to provide facilitation on organisational aspects for its regional structure.
Facilitators UK has been commissioned by Technip Offshore to support a multi-national project split between Aberdeen and Alexandria (Egypt).
It has also recently completed an assignment for Amec in Baku to assist an international three-company consortium to create a single multi-national team for an oil project in the Caspian.
Following on from its ongoing support contract with KOP, part of the Aker Kvaerner group, Facilitators UK recently completed a short assignment to provide support for strategic development and performance management in its Houston office.
Facilitators UK partner Simon Sawers said: “These four contracts, our first to extend beyond the UK, herald our growth onto the international stage and reflect our own ambitions to establish ourselves in key global markets.
“The contracts draw upon our international oil and gas experience and provide the opportunity to apply our unique “Working with National Cultural Differences” tool. This management tool raises awareness of how people from other countries work and how their practices differ from own in the UK.
“The tool assists in the development of strong multi-national teams and prepares people to work effectively in unfamiliar countries overseas.”
“The oil and gas industry is increasingly looking to exploit opportunities on a world wide basis and our expansion mirrors that.”
“Facilitators UK connects people with improved performance. We have considerable expertise in assisting companies establish themselves abroad and in bringing multi-national teams together, and we are in an excellent position to support companies either working overseas or looking to work overseas.”
