In his role, Fleet acts as an intermediary between Falcon’s global sales teams (in Asia, The Middle East and the Americas), and senior management in London and Dubai, assuring that the sales platform is managed and monitored, in order to ensure the smooth transition of all transactions originated within the group.
His position also entails close liaison with the global sales teams, monitoring areas such as performance against budget, and ensuring that deal flows are managed in a manner that meets the demands of the Falcon business model. Additionally, Fleet covers various aspects of management reporting.
“In essence, my role is on Falcon’s bridge –assisting in steering the company towards its goals and helping the sales teams meet their objectives,” explains Fleet.
Fleet has over 10 years of experience working in sales management within the shipping logistics industry – having dealt with organisations in the Middle East, Asia, Europe and the UK. It was with EZD – a global financial logistics company – that he developed skills in trade finance.
“Malcolm is a real asset to Falcon. Having someone that can work with the sales teams on a direct daily basis and provide granular management reporting is invaluable,” says Will Nagle, CEO.
