The expansion is driven by the country’s recent business resurgence and improving economy. According to UNDP (United Nations Development Policy), transportation is the second most important sector for the country.
The FedEx service in Kabul, which includes pick-up and delivery within the city, is operated by its newly-appointed Global Service Participant, Afghan Express Ltd., which has a strong track record of doing business both in the region and internationally.
