The launch of FedEx Web Services on the RTA site will help ensure even smoother and faster delivery of documents to motorists across the UAE. It will provide real-time tracking information to RTA and its customers.
Customers will also receive automated email alerts when their packages are dispatched and delivered, providing an end-to-end experience.
“At FedEx, all our innovations are designed keeping the customer in mind. We aim to offer our customers advanced solutions and an outstanding experience,” said David Ross, senior vice president, FedEx Express Middle East, Indian Subcontinent and Africa Operations.
“The FedEx Web Services shipping solution has helped many organizations, including the RTA, increase operational efficiency and enhance their client’s convenience. The innovative solution will help RTA streamline their workload and improve business processes with minimal time and investment.”
FedEx has been workingclosely with the RTA since 2009, for the delivery of all licensing and registration documents purchased online through the authority’s website.
FedEx Web Services shipping solution is integrated with the RTA’s e-traffic system, which will serve approximately 3,000 clients per month.
“Customers today seek solutions that make their transactions easier and faster. A key objective of the Licensing Agency is to provide clients with simplified solutions, such as 24-hour remote access to our services, without the need to visit the RTA offices. The FedEx service is critical in achieving this objective by delivering our products promptly to clients anywhere in the UAE or overseas,” said Ahmed Bahrozyan, CEO, RTA Licensing Agency.
Built upon innovation, FedEx was among the first express transportation companies to leverage online technology. Today, technological innovation has become an integral part of the FedEx business, helping the company provide express services that customers have come to rely on.
