The officers of the club led by Mariecar Jara-Puyod discussed controversial issues affecting the Filipino community in the UAE such as the “visa run” wherein thousands of Filipinos have been stranded in the islands of Iran and at the borders of Oman.
The other officers also shared some encouraging news like the free seminars being given by individuals and organizations that are helping Filipinos enhance their skills. The monthly forum will be held every last Sunday of the month from 11 pm to midnight.
