FITCH moves forward to address region’s growing branding and design needs

Qatar: Monday, October 24 - 2011 @ 14:10

With more than 350 people working across 11 studios in 8 countries, including offices in Qatar, the UAE and Kuwait, FITCH continues to expand its reach to serve the rapidly growing regional market, cementing the design consultancy’s position as the leading global network for both graphic and environmental design.

“FITCH is now the largest design network in the Middle East, with 30 people in Qatar alone”, commented Olivier Auroy, Managing Director of FITCH Middle East. “On the back of our unique combination of both global reach and strong on-the-ground presence, our client base continues to grow.”

FITCH’s influence in the region extends to the recent branding of QNCC (Qatar National Convention Centre), the Etihad Towers, located next to the Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi, and the brand new shopping-mall Matajer in Sharjah.

“FITCH focuses on translating brand into consumer experience, and it can be felt wherever someone interacts with a brand – whether that’s in a hotel, on the highway, or even on the football field,” adds Auroy. “Our job is to give life to the brand, from websites to retail. Branding strategy is not enough. Companies and consumers want to touch and feel the brand. This is what design is made for!”

Swiftly responding to regional demand for its services, FITCH also welcomes two new Client Services Directors to its Middle East team:

Naoum Rami rejoins FITCH as Client Services Director in Doha, having spent some time working in advertising agencies. Along with his experience working with such prestigious brands as Procter & Gamble, Qatar National Bank, L’Oreal, Colgate and McDonalds, Naoum brings multidisciplinary communications insights to his role.

FITCH is also pleased to announce the addition of Clare Lukas to its team as Client Services Director in Dubai. Speaking four languages, Clare has worked for international branding firms across Europe and the Middle East, in a wide range of sectors.

To illustrate its commitment to combine international expertise with local talent, FITCH Middle East released a promotional movie this week that highlights the design consultancy’s credentials, leadership in the field and deep attachment to the region.
