Participating malls of Forever Dubai expect high gains during campaign

While the malls across Dubai have been briefed on logistics arrangements for the event, excitement runs high amongst participating malls, which anticipate substantial revenues flowing in from the international delegates of the event.

The promotion which will be launched on the 10th of September will give shoppers the opportunity to win a grand prize of 25 kilos of gold on the night of September 26th.

Mr. Eisa Adam Ibrahim, President of Dubai Shopping Malls Group said, “Leading shopping malls under the umbrella of the Dubai Shopping Malls Group (DSMG have come together once again to support yet another unique retail initiative. The participating malls are preparing to offer a warm welcome for shoppers, and are creating their own exciting programmes to further enrich the shopping experience during this special period. The DSMG is taking all steps to ensure that visitors leave the malls with fond memories so they may remember Dubai as a vibrant world-class shopping destination”.

Sabina Khandwani, Head of Research and Marketing of BurJuman Centre, said: “As a premier shopping destination, BurJuman will roll out the red carpet for all its shoppers during the “Forever Dubai” initiative. Sandy Mercer, Mall Manager, Deira City Centre said, “As one of the biggest destination malls in Dubai, Deira City Centre expects to make big gains during the Forever Dubai campaign. The grand prize of 25 kilos of gold is not only appealing to the international IMF visitor, but to the local shopper as well. Therefore will use the campaign period to optimally showcase the completely new offer at the Ground Level of the mall, to the high visitor turnout during the event.”

Rebecca Arnold, Mall Manager, Mercato said, “As a player in the retail segment of Dubai, we actively support and participate in all the retail and tourism initiatives of the Government of Dubai. In fact, we have created a special line-up of art exhibitions and entertainment activities that will appeal to the cross segment of different nationalities. We expect a 20% increase in sales and a million dirham worth of sales during the 16 day long campaign.”

Deepak Chawla, Mall Manager, Oasis Centre said, “Retail promotions are expected to be the highlight of Oasis Centre’s preparations for the Forever Dubai campaign. Shopping will continue to be the flavor of the season as we take on yet another brilliant promotion after the success of Dubai Summer Surprises at the mall.
