Franchise Middle East, which is organising the show, has signed up with Italy’s DESITA as strategic partner to facilitate participation of Italian and European franchisors that are keen to enter the UAE and Middle East markets.
DESITA (desita.it), the International Consultancy Company specialized in Retail concept design and Franchising development, operating in the UAE and GCC countries since 2004, is also member of Iref Italia, the European Franchise & Partnership Network Organization.
DESITA enjoys strong reputation in the market for creating unique concept designs with a distinctive identity that works. In 2010, DESITA created ECOFFEE, the eco-friendly coffee shop project into a Franchising model, as an entrepreneurship platform devoted to benchmarking business practices in the retail-food sector that are environmentally and socially sustainable.

In addition to the partnerships with the Italian player, Franchise UAE Expo has recently obtained the support of Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Malaysian Franchise Association. Last month, the Expo won the support of Franchise Association of New Zealand, Lebanese Franchise Association and Philippine Franchise Association.
Alongside the Expo, there will be a two-day conference and a workshop addressed by key industry experts from the region and globe. The conference will throw light on new products, services opportunities and business trends & resources that can be put into action for rapid growth.
Since its launch in 2010, Franchise UAE Expo has grown in stature. In the last edition, visitor numbers swelled to 2,987, from a mere 1,200 in the first year. Exhibitor numbers jumped from 32 to 71. Business deals worth thousands of dollars were generated during the Expo.
