With a volume of only eight liters the ultra-small form factor ESPRIMO C5900 is the not only the most compact in its class, it also offers extensive security options as well as an integrated power supply. Equipped with the latest Fujitsu Siemens Computers Green PC technology and a range of slots for flexible connectivity, both trademarks of ESPRIMO professional PCs, the new compact model is based on the Intel® 915GV chipset.

“The ESPRIMO C is powerful, quiet, secure and takes up very little space. This makes it an ideal workplace PC for large enterprises, government offices and branch offices,” Suzanne Lewitzki, Product Marketing Manager, Fujitsu Siemens Computers.

Typical deployments include open-plan offices or front-office settings such as bank counters or any space-constrained environment. To safeguard sensitive data even in unprotected environments, Fujitsu Siemens Computers has equipped the ESPRIMO C for optional security features such as a SmartCard reader and an intrusion switch, which alerts the administrator if the cabinet is opened.

Designed to offer a complete ergonomic solution to increasing worldwide environmental legislation, the ESPRIMO professional PCs deliver the ultimate in cutting-edge technology combined with a modular and environmentally conscious design to professional users.

“When it comes to desktop PCs, customers want reliable, future-proof technology that is ergonomic and simple to manage. Small and medium sized companies, as well as large enterprises, place great significance on getting the best value for money,” said Lewitzki.

“Fujitsu Siemens Computers has been paying attention to these needs, continually building upon the proven strengths of its desktop PCs to offer a flexible configuration system.”

The company has minimised the lead content in ESPRIMO mainboards from 12 grams to one, and eliminated the use of halogen gas. In addition, the printed circuit boards, as well as power supply and riser card, are halogen-free. All ESPRIMO PCs are equipped with an advanced cooling concept, making them even quieter to provide an optimal working environment.
