During this week, the Fund is consulting with a number of government, semi-governments and private entities to seek their input on the finalization stages of a web-based solution for full electronic interaction between the Fund and its customers.
The Fund will use this forum to agree on the new salary and registration reporting systems, which are planned for roll-out to all entities during the second half of 2007 and the first quarter of 2008.
This new system is expected to radically improve and change the way the Fund communicates with entities, moving to electronic submissions of data and forms, together with a move to an invoicing basis for contribution payments.
As part of the development process, the Fund invited and will continue to invite in the future many companies from different sectors to participate in consultation sessions.
HR and IT professionals from the consulted entities who work with pension contributions, gave much valued feedback and suggestions on each aspect of the new system allowing the Fund to ensure that the final version of the system is tailored to meet the needs of its customers.
Commenting on the Fund’s decision to hold this ‘consultation week’, Mr. Mubarak Rashed Al Mansouri, the Fund’s Director General said: “The entities who participate in the Fund are part of our valued customer base, so in designing the systems with which they communicate with us, It was always our intention to work with them in a proactive and collaborative manner. I am pleased that, during this ’Consultation Week’, we have been able to get an overwhelming interest to help formulate a solution which serves the needs of us all”.
