Hosted at the Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance, the training session was conducted by Paladion, India-based security consulting and implementation firm, specialising in enterprise security, firewalls, vpns, smart cards, and ids.
Futurebank employees were educated on secure data transmission techniques, non-electronic and electronic data storage, and methods to safely dispose of information – amongst other topics – by two specialists especially flown in for this training.
Earlier this year Futurebank received the prestigious ISO/IEC 27001:2005 Information Management System Standard certification, which covers Management of Information security, providing Infrastructure Setup and Support, Application Support and Maintenance, Backup, Helpdesk, Network Management and System Administration.
