The project involved both Icon’s expertise in creating and installing permanent signage solutions and their outstanding event launch and management skills.
The initial phase of the project was an extensive re-brand and modernisation of the main Honda showroom in Doha city centre. The building’s external branding which needed to be refreshed, was transformed by the installation of a new identity monolith and fascia. The internal works included designing and installing new reception and customer consultation areas and the introduction of Arabic images and themes to give the showroom a more local and contemporary feel.
The follow up phase of the programme involved the event planning and management for the high profile launch of the new Honda Accord. Two separate locations were used for the launch in Doha – one at the showroom and one at the prestigious Villagio shopping centre.
Icon was responsible for all aspects of the launch programme at both venues, from the early planning and design stages through to developing and managing the audio-visual requirements, catering, promotional materials as well as the additional personnel for a launch of this magnitude.
