Over the course of a decade, Project Qatar has grown into a strong partner for small and medium-sized enterprises in the GCC by empowering them to grow their businesses and drive progress in the construction market.
Details for Project Qatar 2013 will be officially announced later this month. This year’s exhibition will take place from May 6 – May 9 at the Doha Exhibition Center, daily: 4-10 p.m.
Key milestones reached during Project Qatar 2012 include:
• Project Qatar has seen the number of exhibitors more than double since 2010, reaching 2,083 exhibitors from 48 countries in 2012.
• 550 more international exhibitors in 2012 than in 2011.
• Project Qatar added 10,000 square meters of exhibition space in 2012 from the previous year.
• Project Qatar 2012 had 22 National Pavilions.
• Project Qatar 2012 hosted a total of 45,995 visitors.

Project Qatar 2012 was hailed by its organizers, exhibitors, and decision makers as a major success. Dubai Exports, the export promotion agency of the UAE’s Department of Economic Development and host of the largest pavilion at Project Qatar, struck 17 deals with Qatari and International companies worth over $60m. Visitors, international exhibitors, and exhibition space are all expect to grow in 2013.
Project Qatar 2013 will again be held under the auspices of Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Affairs Minister His Excellency Sheikh Hamad Bin Jassem Bin Jabor Al Thani. The exhibition will host thousands of businesspeople and project managers from local and regional companies. Additionally, the opening ceremony for Project Qatar 2013 will gather trade ministers, ambassadors, trade delegations, foreign chambers of commerce, and government officials. Project Qatar is a complete marketplace for products and services and an essential access point for reaching key decision makers in Qatar, whose construction market is pegged to grow annually by 12.5% over the next decade.
Details for Project Qatar 2013, including sponsors, will be officially announced at a special event later this month. This year, Project Qatar 2013 will unveil an advanced matchmaking platform for businesses and will launch FMQ Facility Management Qatar – the country’s first facilities management conference for a sector valued at USD 892 billion in the GCC alone. Additionally, the Man and Architecture (M&A) conference, a prestigious knowledge-sharing platform for the architectural and engineering industry, will take place during Project Qatar 2013.
