Impact/BBDO Group win host of regional Below-The-Line Awards

The GCC BTL Awards, which are held every two years and organised by the UAE Chapter of the International Advertising Association, recognise quality and excellence in the advertising industry throughout the GCC Region.

Overall, the IMPACT/BBDO Group ranked third for below-the-line creativity, and second in the total number of Gold Awards received tying with Leo Burnett and the Media House, walking away with three Gold, four Silver and two Bronze Awards at the prestigious ceremony that was staged during a gala dinner in Dubai, UAE.

Silvikrin Packaging wins Gold for Regular Product Packaging Category

Impact/BBDO Dubai received a Gold Award in the Regular Product Packaging Category, for the new and rejuvenated packaging developed for the Silvikrin range of Shampoos, Conditioners and 2-in-1′s.

Emirates Post Stamp wins Gold for Promotional Product Packaging Category

Designed to commemorate World Environment day, Impact/BBDO Dubai walked away with the Gold Award in the Promotional Product Packaging Category.

The Impact/BBDO Group received awards in four other categories namely:

Silver Award in the Announcement/Invitation Cards Category for their Honey Greeting (Impact/BBDO Beirut)

Silver Award in the Media Kits/Rate Cards Category for the Arabia Online Rate Card (Impact/BBDO Dubai)

Bronze Award in the Sales Presentations Category for the Arabia Online Rate Card (Impact/BBDO Dubai)

Bronze Award in the Premiums & Give-aways Category for the Inspector Kiri Console Game (Impact/BBDO Dubai)

The Wella Middle East Hair Show 2002 – Cutting Edge wins Gold Award for Special Events Category

Impact Porter Novelli, the Public Relations Division of the Impact/BBDO Group and the Middle East Head Office of Porter Novelli International, won Gold in the Special Events category for the exceptional standards achieved in the production of The Wella Middle East Hair Show 2002 – Cutting Edge, the first of its kind event to ever be staged in the region.

Impact Proximity
Impact Proximity, the Customer Relationship Management and Online Specialists Division within the Impact family and part of the Proximity Worldwide Agency network, contributed to the agency’s success with two Silver Awards.

The company won a Silver Award in the Web Site Design & Dynamics category for the development of the Snickers Middle East website, while also receiving a Silver Award in the Online Interactive Promo for their online campaign on Pizza Hut – The Edge Pizza launch.

The event, which was attended by an audience of advertising professionals, advertisers and media personalities, attracted a record 736 entries from 69 advertising agencies that were submitted for consideration.
