This Iftar came to reaffirm the hotel’s strong belief in corporate social responsibility, which it had repeatedly shown in the extra care it provides to individuals with special needs. The hotel also aimed, through this event, to reinforce its relations with members of the Jordanian media and press.
“We are honored at Imperial Palace to host such a glamorous evening to acknowledge these individuals as vital parts of our society,”
said Farah Abu Matar, Imperial Palace’s General Manager.
“As an establishment, our policy is to regard ourselves as vanguards for social progress, and we thus like to draw closer to the members of our society, particularly those with special needs.”
Aman Centre’s Manager Reem Abu Seedo expressed her great appreciation of Imperial Palace’s efforts, saying:
“Imperial Palace had always been a pioneer in providing support for our center. The hotel received our children on more than one occasion, and has allowed them to feel as an essential part of society by reinforcing the concepts of collaboration.”
Guests expressed their great joy during the evening, acknowledging the great attention to detail which the organizers had paid in preparing for the evening. The Iftar included several entertainment performances, such as a “hakawati” – a traditional Arab storyteller – and variety of entertaining sketches.
