As one of the launching customers of Bombardier’s latest development, the companies are planning to base these aircrafts in the Middle East and in Europe.
The LearJet NXT mid-size jet can seat up to 8 passengers in its stand-up cabin and has a high cruising speed of Mach 0,82 and a range of up to 3,000 nautical miles, which is enabling the NXT to fly most routes between Europe and the Middle East non-stop.
“Arriving in the coming years, these five aircrafts will add diversity to the fleet which is currently operated by ImperialJet and JETAIR Flug” says Peter Muehlberger, Managing Director of JETAIR Flug.
Starting March 2008, ImperialJet and JETAIR are expecting the arrival of 4 brand-new Challenger 850 ER and 4 brand-new LearJet 60 XR which will be available for charter out of Europe and the Middle East like most of the Bombardier fleet operated by the companies.
