IndusInd Bank offers enhanced NRI banking services in Middle East

The new features were unveiled at an event in Dubai, by IndusInd Bank’s Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Mr Romesh Sobti.

IndusInd Bank has a network of 180 branches, spread over 147 geographical locations in 28 states and union territories across India. IndusInd Bank has its ‘Representative Office’ in Dubai and London.

The NRI banking service comes with two unique and powerful propositions of Indus Assist and Indus NEAT (NRI Enquiry Assistance Tracker). Indus Assist service has been introduced to assist IndusInd Bank’s customers in filing their taxes, undergo Permanent Account Number (PAN) application processing and pay income tax as well property tax.

Indus NEAT is an online query resolution service which will assist IndusInd Bank customers in solving their banking, taxation and finance related queries. Customers can visit IndusInd Bank’s website, and post their queries under the section Indus NEAT. IndusInd Bank will get a response to the query from an expert within 72 hours.

With Tatkal Service, one can open an account instantly across the table and receive remittances in seconds of completing the formalities. Customers are given their account Welcome Kits alongwith Debit Card and cheque books at the time of opening the account itself.

The Bank also launched NRE Premium Savings Deposit Account with Gold Debit Card and free International ATM for an initial amount of INR 50,000 only.

Speaking at the occasion, Mr Romesh Sobti – MD & CEO, IndusInd Bank, said:

IndusInd Bank offers a special remittance product for funds transfer from the Middle-East called the Indus Speed Remit, in tie-up with twenty two exchange houses in the UAE, Oman, Kuwait, Qatar and Bahrain.
