This renews an original agreement between the companies which was signed on August 8, 2003. Under the terms of the renewed agreement, InteliSys will continue providing Air Arabia with its internet-based “amelia” flight reservation, distribution and sales channel management system for a number of years into the future.

The amount of experience InteliSys has acquired in this market since 2003 is tremendous.” Mr. Eisenschmid continued, “We knew the westernized Low Fare model would not be workable in these emerging markets. There are fundamental differences in the way these carriers and their customers interact. By working in partnership with Air Arabia, we adapted the amelia system’s distribution model and created new tools to specifically accommodate the travelling public and the travel trade in this region.” said Mr. Eisenschmid.
Commenting on the relationship with InteliSys, Mr. Adel Ali, CEO for Air Arabia said, “After conducting a review of the alternatives presently available in the market, we decided to continue our partnership with InteliSys, and to expand this relationship into new areas. We look forward to a long, innovative and mutually prosperous relationship with the InteliSys team.”
