Interact Egypt, Markedu organise social media marketing and e-mail marketing master class

Sessions were run miscellaneously by Leander and also Dr. Hayk Hakobyan from Markedu and Ramzy from interact Egypt in a training program run on a two-day plan.

Participants got to know more about the current key trends in social media, globally and locally, what they can do by using social media to succeed in a 5-step plan, how to manage the social media marketing campaign effectively and understand the very important difference between people’s purposes and goals while they launch such campaigns, how to organize the campaign messages to get the maximum desired influence. Moreover, Ramzy delivered an interesting session about Twitter and its value as a marketing as well as customer care tool.

The second day was even more interesting since Leander’s sessions delivered enormous skills for email marketing while Ramzy focused also on the “brand ecosystem” and how mobile and social media marketing can complement the email marketing activities to engage the target audience. Sessions also discussed plans to become a successful e-mail marketer, what to do and what to avoid, how to build the content concept and define the e-mail marketing value proposition, how to attract subscribers fast and in a cost-effective manner, and last but not least, designing the e-mail marketing campaign in a manner that guarantees a high response rate as well as people’s engagement with what you send.

Audiences came from a diversity of verticals including hospitality leaders like Rotana & Jaz hotels, online media & news leaders such as Moheet & Arabcrunch, real estate giants like Talaat Mostafa group and many others. They all walked out of this summit with an interesting toolset to be utilized in their companies.
This is the 3rd footprint for interact during 2010 to hold such events in order to spread the awareness about social media marketing, after an initial workshop that was held in June 2010, and another event held part of the Entrepreneurship Empowerment Symposium during the Global Entrepreneurship week in cooperation with the E-learning center that took place in November, 2010.
