The software provides, for the first time, a clear, real-time, three dimensional view of the performance of the network, enabling IT managers to increase the utilisation of assets. Instead of having to drill down through data on a dashboard, IT Managers see their estate in 3D, enabling rapid insight into what’s working or, in many cases, not working, so that action can be quickly taken as required.
The new graphics software is a core part of Intergence’s Next Generation IT Optimisation Services Suite and its approach to IT optimisation which, rather than simply tuning the network, focuses on optimising the IT assets to meet the needs of the business. By identifying the inter-dependencies between the network and data centres and the security of the organisation, Intergence Systems is able to assist companies in maximising the ROI on assets, reducing risk and enabling hard pressed IT budgets to deliver better services to business.
“It’s important for IT managers and CIOs to be able to see and understand every aspect of their network and IT setup. Intergence’s new modelling software allows them to view the whole network and get a quick understanding of how everything is working and where improvements can be made. This forms a key part of our unique approach to IT optimisation that looks at IT as a way of achieving business objectives rather than ineffective fine tuning of specific components.”
said Peter Job, CEO, Intergence Systems.
The new technology will form part of the company’s Vendor Theatre presentation in Hall 6, on Tuesday October 20th, at 2pm. Barry Viles, Executive Vice President, Operations, Intergence Systems, will demonstrate how effective visualisation of the IT estate is an integral part of an innovative suite of optimisation services that can help organisations manage their IT infrastructure more efficiently through increasing business resilience, by mitigating service level risk through end-to-end real time performance visibility; reducing costs, by quickly identifying service issues and underlying problems; and enabling faster decision making, by improving the operational understanding of complex network and IT infrastructures.
The company has developed a business analysis methodology and an integrated suite of services, supported by proprietary software, to deliver increased business productivity through cost savings, enhanced performance and faster decision-making.
Intergence Systems’ clients include a mix of blue-chip companies and enterprises including Thomson Reuters, BT, Fujitsu, Vodafone, RBS and Lloyds TSB. Its partner ecosystem includes Global Crossing, Ipanema, Riverbed, Certeon and Airwave Solutions. Intergence is based in Cambridge, UK and has offices in Dubai and New York.
