This now means that instead of having to wait for a formal visit from the CIPD Verification Team, Oakwood can apply for Certificates immediately as soon as a student successfully passes all the assignments and module work. This will result in a considerable reduction in the waiting time for certificates.
The same rigorous processes will remain in place to ensure that the CIPD standards and the reputation of these highly sought-after qualifications are upheld. However, by the granting of Direct Claims Status it is acknowledged that Oakwood International has demonstrated best practice in the quality assurance processes in accordance with the these strict requirements of the CIPD.
Commenting on the achievement, International House Dubai’s Assistant Director, Clair Hattle, said, “We’re passionate about developing the talent and skills of individuals and organisations, particularly within human resources and human capital. We’re delighted our partnership with Oakwood makes this the only centre in the UAE to be able to pass on this significant advantage to our candidates. This will enable them to make faster progress in their career and will provide a positive advantage in today’s competitive job market.”
Dennis O’Donnell CEO & Janine Bunning MD of Oakwood added, “We have worked hard to achieve this prestigious accolade from the CIPD. A great deal of thanks and much appreciation must go to Fleur Blanford, Oakwood’s Student Liaison Manager. Fleur and her team have worked tirelessly to implement and uphold the high standards that Oakwood follows.”
