Joanne Thomas attended the conference, held between May 31 and June 3, in Istanbul, Turkey.
InterSearch opened its local office in Qatar in 2006 through the Qatar Financial Centre and is the first international executive search firm to indicate such a commitment to the local market. Joanne Thomas commented,
“The annual conference in Turkey provided the opportunity to showcase the outstanding developments in Qatar to our global partners, and the very promising start we have made in this market by establishing an office here.”
The 2007 annual conference in Istanbul marked the expansion of InterSearch Worldwide in new territories such as Russia, Ukraine and Chile, as well as the strengthening of InterSearch’s global market position with the introduction of new offices in Spain, Portugal, Czech Republic, Singapore and Qatar and the Middle East region.
InterSearch Worldwide is planned to exceed the landmark number of 100 offices by next year, offering consistent, high-quality executive search and recruitment services in 45 countries. It is also the 11th largest executive search firm in the world by revenue, with its global net turnover of U.S. $102 million in 2006 signifying a +27% annual growth rate.
