Intigral, which was formed in 2009, also reported year-on-year revenue growth of 40%, and expects its business to grow by an additional 30% in 2013.

In terms of human capital growth, the company has almost doubled the number of its employees since 2010, and predicts a double digit growth in the coming year.

The Dubai-based company counts Saudi Telecom Company ‘STC’, Viva Bahrain, Viva Kuwait, Umniah Jordan, Orange Jordan and Sudani as its customers, giving it access to a combined customer base of 34.25 million users regionally.

“In just three years, Intigral has secured the top slot in the Middle East’s digital media content services industry, which is a remarkable achievement by any measure,” said Karim Daoud, Intigral’s Chief Executive Officer. “We are in a position to offer a full range of cutting-edge solutions to telecom providers looking to keep pace with fast-evolving consumer needs, as well as leading and driving those digital needs,” he added.

Offering a one-stop shop for the region’s telecom operators, Intigral provides services including content creation, repurposing, censoring and publishing for local audiences; management of video-on-demand ‘VOD’ services provided by telecommunications operators; and the development and management of web portals. The company also offers digital storefront and applications development and management expertise.

Daoud added, “As the region’s telecommunications industry invests in updating its infrastructure and adopting new technologies such as 4G, it is helping drive demand for content delivery over multiple devices and platforms. We are clearly living in an increasingly digital ecosystem and we believe that we have been provided with a fantastic opportunity to leverage our know-how in one of the fastest growing markets in the world.”

Intigral is a joint venture between Saudi Telecommunications Company ‘STC’ and the Malaysian media conglomerate, All Asia Networks ‘ASTRO’ with a current workforce of 240 professionals based in its Dubai and Riyadh offices.
