Dr. Hashim shot to fame eight years ago as chief executive of an Islamic financial services company in Malaysia. Over 24 months, she transformed a joint venture company with only $500,000 of capital, into an organisation handling $1 billion worth of transactions. In 2000, she then launched IslamiQ which has concrete plans to expand its investment services into a comprehensive Islamic E-banking solution by 2002.
The Islamic community has approximately $150 billion invested in Islamic capital markets worldwide, and this figure is expected to increase 20% annually. The Dubai Presentation will demonstrate the confident growth of IslamiQ since its launch in August 2000 and its success in Islamic finance in the USA and Europe. The company is now positioned as the leading provider of online Islamic finance and investment services internationally.
