United Arab Emirates: Saturday, January 09 - 2010 @ 13:46

“MIS is growing and expanding at an impressively rapid rate and this upgrade is crucial to support our strategy for further growth and development. We need a strong technology base to supplement and radically transform our business processes and operations,” said Osama Bader, MIS’ Vice President, IT, Human Resources, and Admin.

Bader adds that Itqan will provide MIS with enterprise Microsoft licensing and messaging system solutions, in addition to data storage and security solutions.

“This project further solidifies Itqan’s presence in the energy sector, since Itqan’s start and take off point was from this vertical. This project signals the birth of a partnership between Itqan and MIS that will form the basis for fruitful and successful ventures in the future,” said Feras Al-Jabi, Itqan General Manager.

According to Bader, the project will open the door for cost saving and efficiency specifically for the licensing agreement that will decrease costs. According to him it will also simplify license management and offer software assurance benefits that include support and training.

“We have invested a considerable portion of our budget for this total IT revamp, in order to generate a higher return on investment. It was important for us to utilize the latest technology, but even more important to map the right technology to our needs and have it act as a catalyst for our growth and our path towards meeting our objectives,” said Bader.

Al-Jabi explains that developing a strong infrastructure platform is the starting point for bigger IT ventures in the future. “Itqan has always played the role of the IT consultant more so than just an implementer, and the subsequences of this venture should only be positive and a base to deploy enterprise software solutions that will revolutionize operations.”

“We in Itqan are so excited about this leading initiative by MIS and look forward to a long-term partnership where we enable the technology to support MIS vision and business now and in the future. A market leader like MIS deserves the best IT infrastructure and systems that help the business grow and flourish. We guarantee them the best support services so they can focus on their IT-enabled business,” he concluded.
