Through IVH Solutions’ ArtisticCard technology, card-issuers can give customers the opportunity to select and edit the appearance of their card. Either by choosing from a pre-approved library of images, taking a picture from a webcam or uploading one of their own photos, end-users can utilise ArtisticCard’s innovative features to personalise their own cards like never before. A family portrait, a picture of a new car or maybe even an international film star; however they choose to design their card, the customer can create something extremely close to their heart.
The unique ArtisticCard service will help strengthen ties between the card-issuer and its customer, driving brand loyalty, customer retention and even enhancing card usage. It can also be used as a distinctive marketing strategy to boost customer base.
“The GCC is an emerging market where customer demand and service levels are increasing at a rapid pace. To compete in this market, banks and other card-issuing companies need to deliver services that both give additional value to the end customers and create a personal bond between the customer and the product. The region is experiencing exponential growth in Internet usage and awareness, and banks and card-issuing companies must act accordingly by generating revenue through state-of-the-art online services such as ArtisticCard,” said Sherry Warsi, IVH Solutions CEO.
While the end-user is given the unique personalisation options, ArtisticCard puts control directly into the card-issuers hands. Using an intuitive web-based interface, all images, categories and templates can be easily changed. Cards can also be blocked, should the image uploaded not keep in line with cultural sensitivities. A dedicated ‘report’ module in the solution provides up-to-date information regarding take-up figures that can help assess marketing drives.
IVH Solutions is offering two separate options for companies wishing to take advantage of their innovative ArtisticCard technology. For complete control, ArtisticCard can installed in-house, integrated it into the company’s network and infrastructure. Artistic Card can also to be hosted as a Cloud Service by IVH Solutions. The Cloud Service is fully secured over SSL and the integration can be branded to match the card-issuers website.
“Artistic Card is not a plug and play solution. It requires an integration project for installation at the card-issuer’s site. However, to reduce this cost we have created a SaaS (Software as a Service) solution. By using our SaaS solution, the card issuer can be online with ArtisticCard in a matter of days,” said Sherry Warsi.
“We believe the response from the end user will very positive. For the first time in the GCC region, the customer will have the opportunity to be part of the card production process by making his or her own choice. Customers already have a relationship with their card because of its wide usage. ArtisticCard will strengthen this relationship dramatically,” added Warsi.
The ArtisticCard has been developed with IVH Solutions’ advanced development framework, currently in use by several banks across Scandinavia.
IVH Solutions plans to launch the ArtisticCard solution across the GCC in December 2010.
