QPR unveils new era of collaborative management software

United Arab Emirates: Sunday, March 28 - 2004 @ 12:29

With over thirteen years of experience in Corporate Performance Management, QPR Software continues its commitment to being the worldwide solution of choice for leading private and public sector organizations. The development of the new release was driven by direct end customer feedback and the input from over 1 500 QPR Community performance and process management professionals in more than 50 countries. Version 7.2 provides unique new functionality, including a dynamic business-process-based Strategy Map user interface and multiple further enhancements to support enterprise-wide deployment of Collaborative Management.

Powerful collaboration
A totally new level of collaboration features was developed to ensure and support corporate-wide collaboration. The highly efficient collaboration and personalization features include Risk Management, structured redesigned “what’s new”, and enhanced alerts to process owners. In addition, automatic login capabilities further strengthen the fully supported NT domain and LDAP authentication capabilities with the QPR User Management System. QPR 7.2 supports interactive easy-to-use presentations of performance information and linkages, including the dynamically combined Strategy and Process Maps with integrated measures.

Strategy Maps can be built in a matter of minutes using a specially developed ‘drag-and-drop’ drawing tool, which customers utilize to display dynamic strategic and performance related information. QPR customers can create and ‘drill-through’ detailed levels of their processes and strategy maps ensuring conceptual understanding and “buy-in” from the whole organisation. QPR 7.2 offers highly effective audit trail functionality as well as continuous easy access to relevant internal and external information such as linked or embedded documentation, links to websites and other existing systems via the QPR Collaboration Portal.

Extended integration and automated ScoreCarding and Process Modelling
QPR 7.2 challenges the old integration and system modelling methods. The new powerful script and API interface enhancements allow customers to create their own script modules, which automatically extract, transforms, and loads information to QPR products. The new script and API interface supports the continuous integration of QPR ScoreCard, QPR ProcessGuide and QPR CostControl as well as creates the possibility to model Business Processes and ScoreCards from information obtained from existing third party systems by using standard XML protocol.

“QPR’s dynamic business-process-based Strategy Mapping and the combined integration enhancements make QPR 7.2 the only choice for serious Collaborative Management Managers” states Matti Kanninen, CEO, QPR Software Plc. “QPR customers such as UNDP, Nokia and City of Dublin are able to reach new heights in their Collaborative Management systems. We are delighted to support our customers to reach and sustain their performance excellence.”

Quick Implementation and ROI
“QPR 7.2 enables customers to automate their existing strategy management systems within a period of 4 weeks from installation. Benefits are realised very quickly and customers roll out strategic initiatives more effectively using the system” states Jude Chagas Pereira, Director –IYCON, Dubai.
