JA Resorts & Hotels – the Dubai-based international hospitality company – has announced the acquisition of a high-end all inclusive resort soon to launch in the Maldives.
JA Manafaru, located in the Northern HaaAlifu Atoll of the Maldives, will present couples and families a high-end holiday offering all year round – and marks the second international property in the company’s robust longer term global expansion strategy.
David Thomson, Chief Operating Officer of JA Resorts & Hotels speaking at ITB Berlin – one of the world’s leading travel trade shows – said JA Resorts & Hotels was proud to announce JA Manafaru as the first in a series of leisure properties the company planned on launching in the future.
“JA Resorts & Hotels is looking to grow our exciting portfolio of luxury properties in line with a world-wide strategic growth plan. With the introduction of JA Manafaru to our portfolio of five-star leisure properties, we believe that JA Resorts & Hotels has laid a strong foundation for success, and we are now well-placed to explore a wider set of business opportunities and geographies.”
JA Manafaru is located 75 minutes by seaplane from Male International Airport. The property boasts 84 keys consisting of beach villas and water villas, eight food and beverage outlets, a spa and beauty complex, water sports and PADI dive centre, and extensive children’s entertainment area. The all-inclusive rates, to be announced at a later stage, will include the seaplane transfer, non-motorised water sports activities, and access to the children’s care area.
According to Thomson JA Manafaru will, as is the norm at all other JA-owned and managed properties, offer guests a distinctive experience of heartfelt hospitality and casual luxury
“With over 30 years’ experience in managing and operating resorts and hotels, as a company we remain committed to the values that have brought us to where we are today. We will continue to attract new luxury leisure travellers who are seeking stylish holidays and enduring memories of unforgettable holidays,” he concluded.
JA Resorts & Hotels’ present portfolio includes the all-suite five-star JA Palm Tree Court and four-star JA Jebel Ali Beach Hotel within the award-winning JA Jebel Ali Golf Resort. On ‘The Walk’ in Dubai Marina the company owns the four-star JA Ocean View Hotel and the deluxe hotel apartments of JA Oasis Beach Tower. All the properties are in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The company also manages the highly exclusive, recently opened Enchanted Island Resort in the Seychelles. Surrounded by the Indian Ocean’s blue waters and vibrant marine life, the resort is a secluded island hideaway, featuring just ten Creole-style villas with private plunge pools, beach access, and outdoor rain showers.
