These lightweight, stylish headsets come with a wide range of inter-changeable covers in a choice of colors and patterns, so they can be completely customized to fit the wearer’s look.
Earlier this year, Jabra launched a region-wide competition which gave budding designers in the Middle East a rare opportunity to create their own look to fit the BT3010 and BT3020 headsets. Eager participants visited www.jabra.com/designer and simply uploaded their own design.
More than 1,000 Middle East contestants submitted their entries which include patterns that were inspired by football colors, a favorite band, or even a favorite outfit. At the end of the competition, eight winning designs were decided by consumers who logged on to www.jabra.com and were used in manufacturing the final product. The winners’ names and title of design were also added in the package, giving Jabra clients in the region a rare privilege of stamping their personal style onto their own headset and consequently influencing the design of the final product.
Ahmed Elkalliny, Regional Sales and Marketing Manager for Jabra Middle East & Africa (MEA) says,
“We have witnessed and experienced a massive trend in personalization over the last few years in this part of the world, with people wanting to celebrate their individuality in all aspects of their lives. At Jabra, we highly encourage this creativity and by launching this competition in the region, we have given both expats and locals alike a wonderful opportunity to turn their highly personal and individual designs into an actual product under the Jabra brand.”
Both models offer simple connectivity to any Bluetooth enabled phone, to take and make calls with ease. The BT3010 offers a choice of use with or without an earhook depending on the users’ preferred wearing style. The BT3020 is a behind-the-ear headset that offers users comfort for long time use. When the headsets hit the market, users can completely personalize their look by printing out their designs and use them with the headsets, updating them as often as they change their style.
