Mr. Mohab Hanafi, General Manager, Jeema, says that the company conducted extensive market research before launching this new product named ‘Jeema Jr.,’ a smaller version of the natural mineral water brand in the UAE.
It can be put in school bags and carried easily in hand or pockets by kids while running or engaging in any sport without being a nuisance due to its small size and sleek shape. This product is also adorned with creative characters and cute drawings along with Jeema stripes resulting in an overwhelming response at schools.
Presentations at schools resulted in an overwhelming response that gave Jeema a chance to gain great insights in creating the labels, characters and packaging of the product. It also helped decide the best size that is convenient for children while providing them with an adequate dose of fresh natural water. This bottle helps preserve the water’s natural elements to quench their thirst without exposing it to air, bacteria and the heat of the sun.
Mr. Mohab also stressed that the main objective of the product is to encourage children to carry water on a permanent basis in view of the importance of healthy water for children and their need to avoid dehydration especially during the summers. Today introduced a special offer for the new product in the form of a Jeema Junior school bag with wheels, a branded tiffin box and tiffin bag and 12 bottles of ‘Jeema Junior’ at a very nominal price. He stresses that the primary goal is to encourage children to carry water which is essential to health.
Jeema Mineral Water will conduct a campaign for this special offer at a number of schools especially for those with special needs before the Eid Al-Fitr to help draw a smile on the face of children through the contents of the bag and labelled water bottles.
Mr. Mohab also said that children will be encouraged to use the water through the distribution of these new water bottles, free of charge at the entrances of all points of sale of school supplies in the Emirate of Dubai on a daily basis between the hours of (7 – 9) pm.
He commented that Jeema’s goals are in the providing a high value healthy product while preserving the purity and quality of its natural elements.
Apart from this, Mr. Mohab Hanafi stated that Jeema Mineral Water’s earnings amounted to twice the expected profits during the current year and the company is moving forward with the implementation of development plans and the expansion of the company’s strategy based on strong a foundation that was un-affected by any economic development.
Jeema will officially announce its new product in the near future. The company also announced the acquisition of Aquafina Mineral Water’s plant in February 2009, and also won the Bronze medal ranked the third in the category of the ‘Best Food and Beverage Website’ at the Pan Arab Web Awards in April, 2009.
