Jet Airways to introduce second Delhi–Dubai flight

United Arab Emirates: Saturday, December 29 - 2012 @ 09:11

This will complement the night flight presently operating between the national capital and the financial hub of the United Arab Emirates.

The introduction of this new flight between Delhi and Dubai further strengthens the presence of Jet Airways in the Indo-Gulf sector, making it one of the region’s leading carriers. The airline will deploy its new generation Boeing 737-800 aircraft, offering twin class configuration of 16 Premiere and 138 Economy seating.

Flight 9W 546 will depart at 1115 hours and arrive Dubai at 1330 hrs (Local Time). On the return leg, flight 9W 545 will depart Dubai at 1425 hrs (LT) and arrive Delhi at 1855 hrs (LT).

This new flight will provide convenient connections to guests travelling to and from northern India, as also from SAARC/ASEAN countries through the airline’s important HUB — Delhi.

JetPrivilege members will have the opportunity of earning double JPMiles while they book their travel on this flight between January 18 and February 18, 2013.

With this flight, Jet Airways will be introducing two new flights in the month of January 2013, between India and Dubai. On January 3, the port city of Mangalore in Karnataka is scheduled to be linked with Dubai with a Boeing 737-800 flight six days a week. Jet Airways presently operates four flights daily from Mumbai and a daily service from Delhi to Dubai.

Sudheer Raghavan, Chief Commercial Officer, Jet Airways, said, “We are happy to introduce a second service on the popular Delhi-Dubai route, which has seen a steady growth in traffic be it tourists or business travellers. This daytime flight would provide easy connectivity for guests, especially from north India, flying to and from the United Arab Emirates, and is expected to be equally popular with travelers. Guests will be offered the airline’s best-in-class in-flight product, which boasts of warm service, award winning entertainment, as well as delectable cuisine. The new services will offer our guests wider options of preferred departure time whilst travelling to Dubai, or travelling onwards throughout our ever-expanding global network.”

The new service from Delhi will now complement the airline’s existing daily Gulf operations to Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Dubai, Doha, Kuwait, Muscat and Sharjah, as well as to Jeddah, Riyadh and Dammam from several cities in India.
