Jassim Transport and Stevedoring Co. launches power rental division

Introduced to meet a high demand for temporary power in the region, JTC Power Rental is already running operations in Kuwait, Qatar, Iraq, and the United Arab Emirates. Furthermore, as part of a far-reaching logistics network, JTC can offer their rental inventory anywhere in the region.

The new division created from within the companies existing Equipment Rental department caters for complete needs of the temporary power generation market. As James Graham, GM Equipment Leasing & Power Rental, stated, “JTC’s substantial Power Rental fleet already positions us as one of the leading Power providers in Kuwait, The Division will benefit from significant investment during 2011 in the form of additional Power Generators, Service Facility enhancements and accessories, such as Eco Safe double skin fuel tanks.”

James added: “The new fleet standard specification includes a number of value added features; we are confident that our clients will both appreciate and benefit from the convenience & safety enhancements of the new high specification equipment.”

Segregating Power Rental activities into a specialist division enables JTC to focus on customer needs, reliability and generally improving service at all levels. The team of In house specialist engineers are able to tailor a power solution to meet the needs of the clients whatever or wherever the need for power may be.

Ultimately, JTC’s Power Rental customers all have one thing in common – a need for reliable stable electricity. The location, size and configurations of the requirements are varied and many, current sectors include:
- Power Projects, often requiring rapid deployment of Multi Mega Watt, Low or High voltage configurations for medium to long terms hire often in remote or hostile environments.
- Oil Field, demanding reliable, continuous power, 24hrs per day, 365 Days per year on safety critical Oil and Gas installations in remote desert locations.
- Depot power – catering for the power requirements of a variety of clients from utilities providers to construction sites, industries and military – even small scale private clients for important social events like weddings.
