The gathering will enable JVC Gulf to communicate its 2004 sales and marketing strategies to its regional distributor and retailing network, and to reveal a wide range of new products due to be launched across the region.
“It is very important for JVC to gather its family of retailers and distributors together in one place,” said Mr. Y. K. Yamamoto, President, JVC Gulf. “The event will give us the opportunity to showcase the up-and-coming JVC technology that our retailers will be selling this year, and to thank them for their sterling efforts in generating sales and in raising the JVC brand profile.”
Participants from 33 countries from across Africa, the Mediterranean, ex-CIS countries, the Levant and the Middle and Near East will gather in Dubai for the four day event. Iran and Turkey will provide the largest delegations outside of the UAE with over 120 and 100 participants respectively.
“JVC will use over 9500 square feet of meeting room space with 20 specific product areas for its exhibition,” said Mr Y. J. Matsushima, General Manager – Sales, JVC Gulf. “And in addition to this, there will be seminar rooms set aside for strategy and product briefings.”
Matsushima explained that the exhibition would give JVC Gulf’s retailing and distribution family an opportunity to fill in the gaps from what they gain from product brochures; giving them a deeper understanding of the JVC product range.
“We will have detailed product briefings and demonstrations throughout the day,” he added. “In turn, our retailers will be able to explain product benefits and give in-depth product demonstrations to their customers when they return to their outlets, raising the bar in customer service.”
The JVC Experience Exhibition – a joint initiative in conjunction with JVC’s UAE distributor, Oasis Enterprises – will also open its doors to the public on Friday 23rd April giving consumers in Dubai the opportunity to view JVC’s 2004 product line-up.
“We hope that members of the public will be as excited as we are by some of the products JVC has available in its flat-screen, video and audio ranges this year,” said Matsushima.
“JVC’s progressive scan family of products will be on display; we will have DVD creation demonstrations for JVC’s range of CyberCam and there are three sections devoted to home-theatre together with a number of product ‘firsts’ for the region.
“All-in-all, our retailers and our customers can expect some real ‘wow-factor’ products from JVC this year.”
