KAPICO, the region’s largest automotive aftermarket group reinforces Indian operations

The KAPICO Group is a leading automotive aftermarket player with operations spread across the Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific and South Asia. The Group represents more than 150 of the world’s best automotive aftermarket brands and has customers in more than 80 countries.

The Group’s trade fair presence is being reinforced by presentations given by senior KAPICO Group executives, giving visitors with a technical interest an opportunity to obtain detailed information about the Group’s range of automotive aftermarket products.

The proportion of our worldwide sales derived from this region has increased steadily during recent years and we expect substantial acceleration in our Indian business in the near future.”

In a move to strengthen its local capabilities the KAPICO Group has recently acquired a parts manufacturer in Noida in addition to making considerable investments in setting up the newest MARUTI SUZUKI franchise in Chennai, Tamilnadu.

The KAPICO presence at the Auto Expo’2006 is focused on introducing SPAREX, its independent brand of quality automotive parts to the Indian consumer.

KAPICO’s stand no 62 in Hall 18a will also showcase body parts from TYC, shock absorbers from KAYABA, and spark plugs from NGK, among a host of international brands.
