United Arab Emirates: Saturday, June 21 - 2008 @ 09:53

Mike and Joy Hynes now fully own Kershaw Leonard following the departure of the previous partners who will be returning to the UK to continue retirement.

Kershaw Leonard is one of the largest recruitment and HR consultants in the UAE region with a core focus on finding “first class people for world-class clients”. Since its establishment in September 1999, Kershaw Leonard has become a well-respected specialist for all aspects of human resource consultancy and recruitment to the industry in the Middle East.

The company offers a unique and unparalleled service in the UAE recruitment sector by delivering a professional and personal approach through extensive networking and powerful intuitive searching, to ensure successful results. The firm’s qualified consultants deliver a unique level of service that is designed to meet the individual needs of both candidates and clients.

Indeed, customer service has always been a key aspect of Kershaw Leonard’s business model, which over the last couple of years has been recognized, winning one of the top 3 places at the Lloyds Small Business of the Year awards.

Mike, in his capacity as Managing Partner for the last two and a half years, has tripled the company’s revenue and was responsible for leading the firm’s expansion into Qatar. Mike’s breadth of experience and vast knowledge of the recruitment sector has seen him constantly raise the benchmark for professionalism and integrity, a signature that Kershaw Leonard clients and candidates have come to expect.

Commenting on the partnership buy out this week, Mike said it provided the ideal catalyst for continued growth in the UAE. He said:

“This is a positive development for the company and we will look at investing in the expansion of the existing offices in Dubai and Qatar, as well as into new branches such as Abu Dhabi. Our expansion will also focus on staff training, and I am particularly pleased that a large number of our consultants have chosen to qualify for the UK Recruitment and Employment Confederation certification to ensure we can further enhance the already high standards of our recruitment practices.”

Mike Hynes has over 15 years business experience in the Middle East and leads the highly specialized team at Kershaw Leonard to source the best in permanent, temporary and contract staff. The firm takes a holistic approach to recruitment, looking at the whole issue of employment in the region. Good examples of the kind of value they regularly add to their offering are the HR Forum, which is a bi-annual, highly participative discussion forum and the hugely successful Cost of Living in Dubai survey which is now in its fifth year.
