This group will change the marketing industry in Kuwait in the near future. They were able to demonstrate their readiness and commitment to undergo this long and rewarding journey of marketing qualifications.
“This is a dream come true for me”. We have been encouraging people to become members of the CIM and undergo their qualification for more than 10 years now, but many get discouraged since it’s in the UK; and now IBS Kuwait is a credited study center, which will benefit the Kuwaiti market and the marketing industry in Kuwait. High standards of quality and integrity are vital to the success of the marketing profession. So maintaining, developing and setting standards within the industry are key parts of The CIM initiatives.
All CIM members are expected to adhere to our Code of Professional Practice, which requires marketers to be honest, legally compliant and up-to-date. Drawn up after extensive research with employers and leading academics, CIM’s Professional Marketing Standards clearly show the skills expected of marketing professionals at every stage of their career. These standards are designed to help both marketers and their employers assess competencies and training needs.
Suha AlAwadhi, Senior Trainer at the IBS said we are proud to be associated with CIM UK the world’s largest professional body for marketers and to start our first marketing qualification with Gulf Bank. CIM goes back to 1911 and when marketing virtually unheard of, 12 sales managers met on May 16 at the Inns of Court Hotel in London to form the Sales Managers’ Association which developed to become CIM.
