The evening ceremony included a documentary about the product and an exhibition showcasing examples of its uses, as well as speeches by Mr. Ahmed Bin Hindi, NMC Manager and Mr. Philippe Francois, NMC Overseas Sales Manager.
NMC gypsum is named after the company which created it, and has been used world-wide in leading hotels, businesses and entertainment outlets, including in Bahrain. However, whereas previously, construction companies had to pay excessive fees and heavy import duties to obtain the product, they can now purchase the NMC gypsum locally from KUZMO, who has been appointed the sole distributor of the product in the Kingdom by the Belgian-based mother company NMC.
This new alternative to gypsum has several advantages in addition to its aesthetically pleasing decoration attributes. It is practical and affordable; one can choose from a range of options of easy fit mouldings to help customize the interior decoration of a building and conceal cables, cracks and imperfections. It is also suited to the modern day demands of construction and renovation.
“NMC gypsum is light, easy to install and paintable while providing ultimate flexibility and durability, as it is able to withstand the demanding weather temperaments of extreme heat and humidity in the Kingdom of Bahrain. It is already renowned internationally for is cost-effectiveness in terms of labor and its environmentally friendly features,” said Mr. Ramadan Al Mulla, KUZMO International Group General Manager.
“NMC has always been concerned about the environment. Therefore the company develops and distributes products that cause minimal pollution during manufacturing, use and disposal,” said Mr. Philippe Francois, of NMC.
