Pioneer of lighting technologies and leading maker of innovative consumer electronic, healthcare and lighting products and technologies, Philips, will take be taking part in Omanexpo’s upcoming Women Expo 2013, adding to the valuable exhibitor lineup of local and international companies.
The 5th edition of Women Expo, an international exhibition of women’s products and services and the first and only trade platform in Oman dedicated to women, will take place from December 17 to 19, 2013 at the Oman International Exhibition Center. Themed “Celebrating Women Empowerment,” the event will present an interesting and varied display of health and beauty, fashion and lifestyle, child care, home and kitchen, and bridal and wedding products. It will also include edutainment activities which will provide visitors a real feel and authentic learning and training experience.
Philips will be represented by exclusive distributor Mustafa Sultan Electronics, one of the largest trading companies in Oman, marketing world-renowned high-quality consumer electronics products, small and major domestic appliances and personal care products. It offers its full range of products across the Sultanate through its company-owned retail outlets and through a network of hypermarkets and dealers apart from the institutional sales channel. It has its showrooms in Ruwi, Al Khuwair and Salalah.

Apart from the exhibits, Women Expo 2013 will introduce and highlight the health and wellness segment, accompanied by fitness areas and aerobic sessions. Visitors will also be treated to live cooking demonstrations and other culinary activities make up demonstrations, and a fashion show-cum-competition. To further enrich experience, short courses will be conducted on the site.
