Formerly known as Interiors & Buildex, The BIG Show – or the Builders International Gathering – is scheduled on March 21-23, 2011 at the Oman International Exhibition Centre in Seeb. The three-day event will showcase a wide range of building materials, construction equipment and interior furnishings, thus serving as an effective platform for meeting the urgent requirements of the building and construction industry in Oman and the wider region.
“This is the fourth year in a row that we are sponsoring The BIG Show because, being one of the premier exhibitions in the region for the building and construction industry, it has consistently provided us with an excellent opportunity to further expand our market as we introduce our products to many new clients,”
said Said A. Al Saqri, Managing Director of Windows 2000.
Al Saqri pointed out that the market for his company’s range of uPVC windows and doors continues to grow as construction activities continue to intensify in Oman and in other parts of the region. To keep up with growing demand, Windows 2000 has recently moved its manufacturing operations from a small factory in Ruwi to a large, state-of-the-art facility at the Rusayl Industrial Estate. In recognition of its world-class operations and the high quality of its products, the company was chosen in 2007 as one of the awardees for His Majesty’s Cup for the best factories in the sultanate.
The range of products that Windows 2000 will display at The BIG Show 2011 will include tilt-and-turn windows, tilt-and-slide windows, and various custom-made doors for specific applications. The company’s uPVC door systems are distinguished, among others, for their waterproofing properties, fire resistance, ability to withstand extreme weather conditions, and their durable, attractive luster. Its multi-chambered uPVC windows, on the other hand, are known for their high impact strength, durability, dimensional stability, and energy efficiency.
“We are highly pleased to once again welcome Windows 2000 as one of our major exhibitors and valuable sponsors. The company’s strong presence at The BIG Show will make it possible for industry professionals to directly source all the uPVC windows and doors that they need in their ongoing and upcoming projects,” said Nasser Diab, general manager of Omanexpo, the pioneer exhibition management company in Oman and the leading organiser of high-profile trade shows in the sultanate.
Diab stressed that The BIG Show 2011 will even be much bigger than previous editions of the event, as it will feature the participation of a higher number of exhibitors from within Oman as well as from many other countries worldwide. A new dimension of the show, called the Construction Equipment Demonstration Zone, will likewise be highly relevant to industry professionals as it will showcase the special features and capabilities of various brands of heavy equipment that are now available in the market.
Distinguished as a ‘UFI-Approved Event,’ The BIG Show 2011 is officially endorsed by the Oman Chamber of Commerce & Industry (OCCI). In addition to Windows 2000 as the event’s platinum sponsor, the international exhibition is also supported by Panorama Windows Co. LLC as the gold sponsor, Agility as the official logistics partner, and the OER Dossier as the media partner.
The organiser, Omanexpo, is a member of UFI- The Global Association of the Exhibition Industry and the International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE). Established in 1986 and part of the SABCO Group, it has over 25 years of experience in organising professional trade shows and technical conferences.
As a testament to the quality of its operations, Omanexpo is the exhibition management company in Oman with the highest number of ‘UFI-Approved Events,’ thus giving an assurance to exhibitors and visitors alike that they are making a sound business investment when participating in Omanexpo’s exhibitions.
