Pixman, which is making its debut in the region, is a marketing research tool using the latest technology and media promotion systems that depend on direct interaction with the targeted public.
The technology displays video commercials advertisements via a screen on a portable hand-carried gadget which is easily handled by persons roaming in the targeted areas. It can also be fixed on cars and other automobiles while it’s remote-controlled via satellite to change the advertisement content according to requirement of each of the targeted areas.
Commenting on the new technology, the Executive Director of One Connection, Mr. Ali Kayed, said the new video advertisement technology is aimed at bridging the gap between producers and the targeted public in view of the rapid economic growth and development the UAE, in general and Dubai, in particular, are currently witnessing, by providing innovative solutions and coming up with new creative channels of marketing techniques that are research-based and modern technology-oriented, adding that his outfit, through this new technology, is presenting a unique means of marketing of products directly to the targeted public using the latest technology.
“By showcasing Pixman at GITEX 2007, we aim at offering the people of Dubai and visitors to the exhibition the opportunity to see this innovative marketing tool which can be strategically used in promotional campaigns. This is because the new tool is capable of reaching all targeted public and areas, including shopping centres, cafeterias, restaurants, etc to accurately deliver the message required in a face-to-face contact with the consumers,” he said, adding that the technology can also be used in a drive-by campaign on roads and other populated areas to attract the attention of the public. “
