Value pack promotion attracts thousands to switch to Shahry

Shahry Value Packs were already very cost effective when they were launched at the start of the year, offering potential overall savings of as much as 39% on standard rates with free call minutes, SMS, MMS and data options.

With the new Ramadan Promotion, customers can now use their free call minutes on either international or local calls, to anywhere in the world, any time.

This offer has received a strong response with thousands of Hala customers upgrading to Shahry since the launch of the promotion, and with many Shahry customers electing to take advantage of the promotion by choosing to upgrade to the great value and accessibility of Shahry Value Packs.

Pricing for the Value Packs is incredibly straight-forward, with each of the four Value Packs costing a monthly fee in return for huge value in the number of call minutes, SMS, MMS and data options available.

With over 2,000 call minutes included with the Shahry 575, this means that, with the promotion, customers can call overseas for 2,000 minutes, creating an effective call rate. The Shahry 130 Pack offers 300 call minutes – offering an effective call rate.

Customers get these minutes as part of their monthly fee – no additional charges are required – and can use them for local and international calls during the promotion period.

Customers also get a selection of included SMS, MMS and data that can be used for free any time and any day of the week.

Shahry – Pay Monthly Value Packs, with four flexible options, are available to every resident in Qatar. No credit card or deposit is needed and there are no strings attached. Customers can choose the Pack that suits their monthly needs, and move up or down the different Value Packs as often as they want for no additional charge. Hala customers can upgrade easily with no charges, and Value Pack customers are informed by SMS whenever they’ve used 80% of their Pack.

Customers who are members of Qtel’s Nojoom reward programme even get points when they buy Value Packs, which can be exchanged for a host of rewards and experiences.
