The strategic move comes following project work on two multi-billion dollar developments on Al Reem Island and the recent engagement of 3D visualisation services for two of Abu Dhabi’s most influential players – Tourism Development and Investment Company (TDIC) and Western Region Municipality.
Orbit Middle East director Darren Cole-Sinclair said: “Orbit Middle East has had a presence in Abu Dhabi since May last year, working on two marina developments on Al Reem Island, but we quickly realised it was going to be important that we actually set up full operations here.”
“As far as I am aware, there are no other 3D visualisations companies who have offices located in Abu Dhabi. Of course, there are companies operating out of Dubai, England, China and other places, who work with Abu Dhabi clients, but there are limitations to that dynamic.”
“By setting up in Abu Dhabi, Orbit Middle East is signalling its long term intent to the growth of the City in line with Plan 2030, and it also shows a commitment to the type of working relationship that we believe really benefits our clients and what they are trying to achieve – be they developers, Government and Municipality planning departments, construction firms or advertising agencies.”
For nine years, Orbit has delivered award-winning 3D visualisation, software programming, BIM and architecture for prestigious clients across Asia and Europe. Orbit has a team of highly-experienced software engineers, designers and creative directors who have established an industry-leading reputation for the quality, detail and direction of its 3D visualisations.
Through its architectural background, Orbit Middle East brings extensive urban planning experience and architectural knowledge to Abu Dhabi, giving the company a definitive edge when it comes to 3D modelling and animation of developments, said Mr Cole-Sinclair.
“One of things that Orbit Middle East has found since working in Abu Dhabi is that our knowledge and understanding of architecture and urban planning is really valued by clients – particularly when we are talking with developers of huge infrastructure projects and municipality initiatives,”
said Mr Cole-Sinclair.
“To be able to understand the world of architecture – the plans, the jargon, the vision – it really instils confidence in the client, lifts the quality of our 3D visualisation and increases the speed that we can deliver.”
“When you pair this industry knowledge with our creative capabilities and the technology and software that we use, what you get is a really strong 3D visualisation product. We’ve had great success with the work we’ve done in Abu Dhabi, so far, and that’s the reason Orbit Middle East is now established here.”
Orbit Middle East’s client list includes Western Region Municipality, TDIC, Dar Al-Dhabi Real Estate and Keangnam Enterprises Co.
