Orient – ESJ announces summer courses schedule

Mr. Ghassan Abboud, founder and General Manager, Orient – ESJ, said: “We are pleased with this exceptional response on our courses and striking success within such a short span, hence we decided to continue the summer season with the same intense of the courses in order to provide the opportunity for interested students to join the graduates of our center during the summer vacation to take advantage of their free time to enhance their skills and develop their talent in an affordable cost benefiting from our student/summer special prices. Our mission is to prepare and direct talents who can make a difference in the media sector in the future”.

He added: “We realized the need for a professional academic body to institutionalize the source for education to raise standards and provide high-tech specialized professionals and prepare students as well as qualify amateur talents to adapt with the fast moving and accelerated growth of the media activities in the world and bring it to the Middle East region.

From this principle we started Orient – ESJ training center through signing a twinning partnership agreement with ESJ – Paris, the famed higher education institute of journalism in France which was established between 1896 – 1899. This all is still a pre-launching of the academy in preparation for the official opening which is expected to start accepting applications very soon.”

Ms. Faten Azzam, Director, Orient – ESJ, declared: “Nowadays the training is restricted to theoretical case studies, but we at Orient – ESJ highlight and focus on the practical training for participants. we strive to improve and develop the existing talent in the region by equipping our trainees with excellence and proficiency as we provide technological and practical training in all aspects of television and radio media, for journalism students, media professionals in addition those who are talented and interested in studying media, through the varied and intensive courses that take into consideration the participant education level. On daily bases the center receives requests from all Arab countries and this evidence and proofs that a high percentage of our youth’s desired to enter the media district and seek for an opportunity in the field with convinced of the necessity of training to expand their qualifications”.

Azzam conclude: “Orient – ESJ offers training courses in: Television presenter, Journalism and editing, Television Correspondence, Investigative Journalism, Production, Filming and Video Editing (Montage). All professors that our center deal with, foreigners and Arabs living in France are professionals and well-known in their respective zones and recommended by ESJ – Paris. Courses include intensive theoretical and practical lectures process over 6 days every major. At the end of each course the trainees obtained an official certificate signed by both ESJ – Paris and Orient – ESJ in Dubai”.

As for the summer months, Orient – ESJ reduced the rates to be affordable for all applicants and to facilitate those coming from outside the United Arab Emirates, the center will provide the visa to enter the country as well as providing transportation from the place of residence to the center location for free.
