The main theme of the conference is chance takes gears. The speed and capacity in which children think and absorb is growing considerably faster than the pace in which we can educate them. The challenge to keep up grows more difficult than we realize.
The TeachME November conference will address this critical challenge to the future of schooling, and present viable solutions to offer quality education. This gathering will field a wide variety of discussions and workshops across a range of subjects which are in fact the different gears (components) in the engine that drives the future of education. It will highlight the topic of debate in schools and present a special session on setting up debate programs.
There will be a dedicated panel for each of the four major topics of the conference:
1. Information Technology
2. Early childhood Education
3. Teaching of the Arabic Language
4. Health and Nutrition.
A comprehensive panel on the second day and final will explore the findings of each of the four panels for discussion. Experts from the field of education will be present to exchange opinions and discuss possible solutions to the challenges.
The TeachME November 09 conference targets school operators, teachers, principals, policy makers and parents from the UAE and abroad. The forum also hosts an exhibition of products and books relating to schools and education.
Twelve international trainers are scheduled to present more than 45 workshops and 25 talks in both Arabic and English languages, with a wide selection of topics catering to all levels of K-12 schools. The sessions will run from 9:30 in the mornings until 7:00 in the evenings over the course of two days.
The conference is sponsored by Acer as a platinum sponsor, Arab Business Machine, Alternative Solutions, Dell, Logicom and Microsoft as Gold Sponsors, and Kaspersky Lab as a silver sponsor. TeachME is supported by the Emirates Foundation and in partnership with UNICEF.
