The dinner was followed by an honoring ceremony, during which Chaîne des Rôtisseurs awarded the staff of Trader Vic’s Amman for their world-class service and warm hospitality.
The association also granted The Royal Jordanian Airlines an official commendation for the quality performance it maintains, even in the context of the current economic crisis.
Headquartered in Paris, Chaîne des Rôtisseurs is a gastronomic society dedicated to bringing together professional and non-professional members from around the world who appreciate wine, cuisine and fine dining. The Regency Palace Hotel holds Chaîne des Rôtisseurs’s Jordanian branch and handles all of the association’s activities in the country.
“The Regency Palace Hotel sees in this event a valuable chance to exchange ideas and experiences with partners in the field-a key step that will help the service and hotel industry grow,”
said Regency’s GM Said Sawalha, who is also the president of Chaîne des Rôtisseurs Jordan.
Trader Vic’s Manager Alfredo Hernandez echoed Sawalha’s sentiments saying, “Allow me to thank the expert team of Chaîne des Rôtisseurs for this acknowledgement. It is definitely the hard work and creativity of our team that differentiates Trader Vic’s Amman from other restaurants.”
Chaîne des Rôtisseurs has committees in each of its country members. The Jordanian committee members are Senator Aqel Biltaji, industry expert Adnan Habbo, CEO of Front Row Publishing House Iyad Shehadeh, and the committee’s Charge d’Affairs Firas Sawalha.
Chaîne des Rôtisseurs membership is seen as a great opportunity for people who share a common interest in fine dining to exchange new ideas that would tackle the industry’s challenges and its progress in different countries around the world.
