“Despite post September 11 gloom, our revenue and occupancy levels exceeded our own expectations in a year which also saw our hotel being voted as the best employer for Omanis,” said Marko Hytonen, General Manager, Radisson SAS Hotel, Muscat.
“We were also the first to applaud Oman’s new visa norms and adopt new rates, as we remain committed to the Sultanate’s tourism development.”
In its effort to maintain its growing market share, Radisson SAS Hotel, Muscat, has planned a series of events addressing both the local and international markets.
“Special restaurant promotions, great new entertainment outfits, and an array of sporting attractions such as our established Scandinavian Golf Tournament, are just some of this year’s highlights,” said Hytonen.
“And in line with our policy of being the best employer for Omani nationals, we will host an interactive Omani Hospitality Day in March to better promote our industry to young local career aspirants.”
