Royal Jet, the international luxury flight services company chaired by His Excellency Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, has seen a positive start to the summer with an increase in enquiries from clients looking to enjoy the airline’s award winning services.
Royal Jet’s growth in the first six months of the year is echoing the positive results that the company achieved in 2013, when the airline continued to exceed high standards of service, security and safety across the fleet, resulting in a sustained profit for almost all of the 10 years of company history.
During 2013, Royal Jet’s medevac business continued to perform strongly, whilst the airline’s brokerage business improved by more than 30 per cent in 2013 as compared to 2012. Overall, Royal Jet operated more than 2,500 flights covering more than 300 airports in almost 120 countries worldwide last year and the company is on track to exceed these figures in 2014.
Traditionally, this time of year sees an increase in demand with those travelling to Europe or further afield for a summer break. As the owner of the world’s largest Boeing Business Jet (BBJ) fleet with six luxurious BBJs, one of which can accommodate up to a maximum of 52 passengers, demand for Royal Jet’s aircraft is increasing. One of the BBJs includes the AIN-6 aircraft, which was refurbished in 2013 and is now regularly referred to as a 7-star flying hotel.
Royal Jet’s smaller aircraft – two Gulfstream and a Learjet – can also be customized, to match guests’ requirements with their award-winning service.
“Summer is traditionally a period of increased travel and we expect that we will continue to see strong interest over the next few months and for the rest of the year.” said Shane O’Hare, President and CEO of Royal Jet. “Clients are able to have complete flexibility with their departure times, allowing for convenient travel for those who are pressed for time. We are proud to be the operator of choice by so many in the Middle East due to our, discreet, innovative, world-class service.”
All passengers can take advantage of checking-in only 15 minutes prior to take-off at Royal Jet’s award-winning dedicated VIP Terminal at Abu Dhabi International Airport, where they will receive full immigration and customs checks by Royal Jet’s experienced staff, offering a stress-free and convenient solution for UAE travellers.
For those who are looking for the ultimate luxurious getaway, Royal Jet Luxury Vacations (RJLV), the airline’s bespoke luxury holiday division, can have every step taken care of by offering exclusive escapes around the world. Born out of the operator’s vast knowledge of travel, each RJLV holiday is perfectly tailored to every client’s requirements.
In line with Royal Jet’s dedication to offering luxury holidays, last year the Seychelles FBO opened after a three-month refurbishment with designs, training and operational management by Royal Jet. It features the same level of operational procedures and standards set by Royal Jet’s Abu Dhabi FBO and through efficient management, the airline was able to almost double the revenues during a six month period in 2013 as compared to same period in 2012.
Royal Jet continues to raise the bar on their operational performance, having recently received the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) certification for all five different business units, which ensures that guest services will always exceed customer expectations.
