“On Friday 04/12/2009 the trains will operate from 14.00 to 00.30, and as of Saturday 05/12/2009 the metro service will revert to normal schedule i.e. from 06.00 am to 11.00 pm,” said Peyman.
“RTA is keen on keeping the public informed of any changes in the service timetable of public transport modes during holidays and national events as part of its efforts to provide quality service at the highest global standards applicable in this vital sector which underscores the progress made by the UAE in general and Dubai in particular” he added.
The Director of RTA Marketing & Corporate Communication Dep’t called on the public to abide by the rules of safety & security at the metro stations and on board the carriages as they these regulations have been intended for the security & safety of all metro riders.
