A number of UAE university students in various science and arts pathways have engaged in testing a number of new smart services related to RTA that represent main apps in a lab tailor-made by the RTA at its Head Office.
Ahmed Hashim Bahrozyan, Head of the Team Supervising the Implementation of the Integrated Transition into Smart Government, and the CEO of RTA’s Licensing Agency, said: “Tests would continue for three weeks where university students had been hosted in the second week to test a bundle of new smart services; which were tested in the first and third weeks by IT specialists from RTA’s Technical Support Services Sector.
“The RTA opted to avail students, particularly university ones, the opportunity to test its smart apps that contain a number of new services so that the youths among university students can taste the features and benefits of these smart services under the ultimate objective of embedding the culture of using smart services and mass transit systems amongst this important community segment. Besides that, the RTA would be able through these tests, to identify the aspects of strength and weakness through analyzing the feedbacks, views and findings made by a host of university students,” said Bahrozyan.
“We, in the RTA, are working tirelessly on broadening and uplifting the scope of our smart apps, which comprise a number of important services rendered to various community segments including public transport users and beneficiaries of wide-ranging services of the RTA.
“The RTA attaches utmost importance to the realization of the vision of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, in caring for the public and clientele spanning different segments of the community through delivering best-in-class smart services that measure up to their needs. Such services have to be of a 5-star level, and availed through smart mobile phones enabling customers process their transactions in a smooth and accurate manner and at any time and place, without waiting for conventional procedures; which would also contribute to achieving higher customers satisfaction rating,” continued Bahrozyan.
“The RTA stands ready to support the initiative of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to transform Dubai into the smartest city in the world within less than 3 years. Such a support is epitomized in the shape of adopting smart solutions and apps in various services & initiatives offered to the public.
