During the Camp children and families of RTA employees were treated to a plethora of activities and events, which were attended by about 200 participants.
Kawthar kadhim, Director of RTA Human Resources & Development, said, “On the first day of the event, a visual presentation was made to educate children on the key achievements made by the RTA and various mass transit means operating in Dubai. The children were then escorted in a metro ride to know more about the metro and how to use it along with other activities practiced by children on the same day such as drawing and colouring on various RTA public transport means.”
“On the second day of the event, RTA buses lifted the participants to the Hobbies Club at Al-Aweer in a day packed with events & activities including cartoons characters fancied by kids in order to give them more entertain and fun. Events also included horse-riding, motor-biking, shooting, handicraft workshop, and a soapy playground,” elaborated Kawther.
Concluding her remarks, Kawther reiterated RTA’s commitment to stage various types of entertainment, social, scientific and health events & activities with the aim of improving the practical, social, health and psychological life of employees together with their families in a way that reflects positively on their career and daily performance, which will ultimately boost RTA’s standing and enhance the quality of its service offering across all community segments.
